For the future I was much more interested in Nelson who ran in the maiden on the same card.
Typical O'Brien first time out performance (i.e. a virtual non trier) but he met loads of trouble and finished hard on the bridle just behind the leaders.

He's been backed as if defeat is not envisaged...but look what happened to Kew Gardens yesterday? Money ended up in bookies' satchels.

I think this is the end of the line for The Pentagon (TP) as he did not seem to stay with everything in his favour today. Bye, bye TP!

Triumph hurdle favourite.

Stamina is not the issue, he's just not as good as some hoped when he was favourite for the Derby last year.
