Sorry lads (and lasses); forgot to mention that if the Enable spell is cracked in the King George then the price of all other runners in this race will drop a fair amount, even if she wins the King George I can't see Seventh Heaven's price drifting too much and the extra run may well take some of the zest out of Enables tank come Yorkshire Oaks day.....they could even bypass the race altogether, though I'm not counting on that happening.

No doubting the ability of Seventh Heaven who beat the Arc winner Found in this race last year, but there is that small question about her participation - she's been sideline with an injury which has ruled her out until the autumn, according to AOB.
Enable is a silly price at odds-on on what she's done but Gosden do have a very strong hand in the fillies division this year with Journey and So Mi Dar in his care too. |

Oh I wasn't aware about her injury, thanks for that info.....what a pickle.

No worries, that's what this forum is for.
Seventh Heaven, if fit and running, is the one horse that could give Enable a run for her money assuming Enable does herself justice in the KG, if she runs. |

Any news on whether Enable is going for this race after her romp in the King George? I noticed she was about 1.58 on here when I last checked earlier but if I was the trainer (and having backed Seventh Heaven I'm admittedly talking trough my pocket) I'd save her for the Arc.

All being well, her next destination is here, according to Gosden then a racecourse gallop prior to the Arc.
No position here (yet) for me but have backed her for the Arc. I do not want her to run here either,...nothing to prove and unnecessary, in my opinion; she'd had 5 races to date, and with the Arc, America and Japan it could be 1 too many (eventually) even if she wins the Yorkshire Oaks in a canter. I'd rather connections save her for America and Japan, post the Arc, as these are more valuable and prestigious races to win. |

Agreed with you mate, if she runs in this I believe she will win in a canter and nothing will have been proven as shes already beaten the superior opposition over 1m4f in the KG, again think you're right about not running the horse too many times this season, don't see why they'd need to as she clearly already knows her job on a racecourse.

Looks unlikely Seventh Heaven will run here as she's been taken off the betting market. Will Winter run here instead or will she revert back to 8f?

Oh great haha that's £20 down the drain :D thanks for the update nonetheless!

I think it's long odds on Winter will not go for this race, it would be another 2f step in 2 races. I'm not suggesting she's not a 12f filly, but i feel she will be kept for 10f for the time being. The Irish Champion could be her next goal, a race she could win given the allowances, and may even start favourite. I would back Enable against Winter over 12f with decent money, but they will not meet until the Arc, and only if Winter goes there, personally I don't think she will.

Minding ran in the Nassau and then the Irish Champion Stakes thus very possibly Winter will emulate her - no Juddmonte as AOB has Highland Reel and Cliffs of Moher. Also, I think Churchill will be kept to 8f for the time being.

While Enable is the likely winner at the prices I'd be looking to oppose her - Taghrooda had similar credentials and got turned over at 1/5.
No idea why Stoute ran Queens Trust yesterday - hates soft going and he could have kept her fresh for this. |

really no idea why they would run Enable in this - will only reduce her Arc chances IMO

Can't agree. All sorts of things can go wrong in 2 months. Take another G1 when the horse is bouncing.
