Order of St George (OoSG) seems to be getting less enthusiastic for this game and a tricky ride for Moore these days. I think unless the ground comes up soft 2m could be a bit short for him now to turn the form round with Big Orange.

Order of St Georpe not a definite runner now per AoB
Took the 7/4 this morning on the dual winner of this race and all round peoples champion before the price crashed Come on Big Orange!!! |

Shame AOB has ducked a rematch not running OoSG against Big Orange here - the ground could even come good for the former.

Will AOB have a rethink about the participation of OoSG? The ground could be soft with so much precipitation forecast which is just ideal for OoSG for a change.

No! Order Of St George taken out at 6 day confirmation stage.
It looks like Coolmore will have a go with US Army Ranger though who is their only remaining entry given Crowley's name is penciled in against Wicklow Brave for Mullins although I suppose Moore could ride Platitude for SMS and Prince Khalid. I like Simple Verse at this stage given the prices - trip and ground should suit and her course form reads 21 so we know the idiosyncratic track holds no fears for her. |

Don't laugh but they may even water before the meeting starts. As of mid-afternoon today the going is "Good" for the entire course. The forecast is mainly dry with only a possible shower on three of the next five days; There could easily be no rain. Add to that windspeeds over the entire period of mid to high teens plus of course the course sits on chalk. So the chances of it being worse than good are minimal imo (overwatering aside

good to know blackbarn - I would n't be keen on backing Simple Verse on anything faster than good (I doubt she'd run after Ascot anyway)

Dal Haaraild and Simple Verse seemingly non runners now

Very well done! The wfa worked to Stradivarius's favour, but BO ran a very good race too.
