Once again another competitive Saturday handicap
Had my eye on this race from last week did back BADBOYJOHN this morning once reading the RP trainers comments about the horse. Also looks like Regal Encore may not run either - so id be careful with that horse.
But I really fancy the chances of last years 1-2. ZIGA BOY 14/1 and Coologue 12/1
Ziga boy loves the course having won the race last year, was 3rd in his last run. So think he was aimed in this and jockey Tom Bellamy booked to ride. Although higher in the weights - I don't think this will stop this horse. Would be nice to see King pick up a decent handicap this season

BALLYBROKER BREEZE my main fancy, like the colours, owners have had some good horses down the years. Up 10lb for easy win, jumps well, unexposed improver, only three chase runs, trainer 18% strike rate Doncaster.
ANOTHER HERO has the form to be involved at finish.

Soul dancer, fancy that myself, do you think it needs soft/heavy, I see Nicky also has Looking well in it, wonder if he is covering all angles, weather wise.
He travelled well and won at Perth on good ground and run on good to soft, so can't see it being a problem. I considered Looking Well but put off cos he hasn't run for 264 days. Did my bet last week so was worried it might not run or maybe need the race.
Trainer has since stated he goes well fresh, but I'm not sure he's has well h'capped as his stable companion, though also looks an improver.

I've had a few quid EW on WAKANDA 20/1. Probably exposed but his last 2 runs are working out very well after the Peter Marsh Chase and can see him in the shake up.

i have an eway double and out sam in sky bet with the crafty butcher is he deeemed a nr if dosent get a run as a reserve tcb
Looking Well , on a line through Definitely Red is around a stone better off with Wakanda , whom I also like , but cant stop thinking that Virak , who he has beaten three times has been on a downward path .
Interesting C Longsden has got 2 - COOLOGUE and LONG LUNCH, already backed the former will back the latter 25/1 at Korals

Longsden also had 2 in the Veterans h/c chase at Sandown a couple of weeks ago First and third on that occassion and both big prices so i'm not dismissing lightly but i can get by Third Intention. Rag of the field and worried about the trip but his really good on a going day and hoping tomorrow is one of those days
Wide open so as a believer in 'horses for courses' I'll try Ziga Boy @ 12/1 and a little e/w bet on Looking Well @ 25/1.
15.40 Coologue Coologue came second in this race last year, he's a better horse this year but he's gone up 6lbs since then. Conditions will suit him and if he can get into a good rhythm early on then he should have a good e/w chance.
15.40 Long Lunch Long Lunch ran well here last time, this is a much better race than that was, but a repeat of that would see him have a little chance. This is a big step up though.

Great shout boys. Didnt play in the race and having backed Ziga Boy the last twice didnt really fancy him yesterday - just one of them horses for me.
Looks like a scottish national type to me though i think King harbors thoughts of a crack at the national and why not?
