I agree with OP race will cut up and will probably stay here... but if big guns are still declared he will swerve for the WH...
Gut feeling is this horse is better 2m to 2m4f.... not sure he will get 3 miles.
yeap think the owner wants to take that route.I agree with OP race will cut up and will probably stay here... but if big guns are still declared he will swerve for the WH...Gut feeling is this horse is better 2m to 2m4f.... not sure he will get 3 mil
Brain Power represents a better chance at the same odds. Improving, very fast time on Saturday, and already similar RPR as placed horses in last two Champion Hurdles. Best performance when fast timed race, and the 3m 45 to 50 secs in the Champion Hurdle will be a similar speed and timed race to his Ascot romp.
I also like North Hill Harvey and Superb Story as Each Way options, but both are around a stone below RPRs of Brain Power.

I still find it hard to believe that they are considering the Stayers, got to be the CH all day for me. 3 miles is uncharted territory and they have raced 2 miles each time this season, it would seem very strange to do that and then go for 3 miles
there is no doubt the horse loves Cheltenham too, and there must be a few doubts about Faugheen or Annie being fully fit. 20/1 NRNB is still available

He should run in the stayers got a chance of winning that. Will never beat Yanworth so why bother. I can't believe people want to go over the cliff every year with this horse. He's been a great horse for trainer and owners but he's just shy of top class when it comes to winning a champ hurdle.
