Once again, bottom of the Claisse waters the track before rain. The drainage system he installed in the nineties sucks out moisture faster than Cathy Barry. He has no control over it so in periods of dry weather he can't slow it down and ends up having to irrigate the track even in the middle of winter. At one time it would have taken over an inch of rain on the day to turn Cheltenham ground from good to heavy. With simple Simon in charge all you need is a bit of drizzle.
