Thought it might be worthwhile to start a thread on potential well handicapped national hunt horses?

I will start with Eduard. Dropped to a mark of 151 after his encouraging comeback run when he clattered a few fences. If he had jumped well he would have probably won.

Nicky Richards has always talked about this horse in the same breath as Monets Garden and One Man. The intention is now to step it up to 3 miles and is potentially earmarked for a 3m handicap chase on Saturday week at Ascot. This handicap looks like it will cut up badly with trainers having multiple entries. 16/1 looks big on the ante post market however there is no guarantee Eduard will turn up.

Regardless of where Eduard goes he is definitely better than a mark of 151.

Meat Loaf,
I don't know how many runners he sends south but very few win when he sends them, he seems to know where he stands when he backs his runners up north, very rarely leaves the money behind.
