Can't say Apple's Jade looks up to winning a top Group 1 on what we have seen so far this season. Ok she was a little unlucky last week but even if she had beaten Irving half a length it's hardly top class form. Last years juvenile form looks pretty pants.

VVM a worthy favourite but I have gone for Shaneshill e/w @ 9/2 - he loves Fairyhouse.

I used to like Shaneshill until he was sacrificed in the Supreme against Douvan; Shaneshill will no doubt run his usual solid race however, I believe he has lost some of his pace going over fences last season; the distance will suit but he just does not seem to be able to finish his races eg outstayed by No More Heroes (21f) and Blaklion (24f) - watching brief for me.
