Scholfield jocked up on Melodic so looks like Irving going straight to Newcastle this time, rather than taking in both races.
He has been available at bigger, but 5s/6s OLD GUARD looks a knocking bet with Cobden pencilled in for the ride. Forecast rain not ideal, but looks to me like pumpkin is ready to set this one loose to try to win some £££, and rain could see MTOY scratched.

MTOY declared, seems like they've tempted Henderson by running it on the flat course, still would n't be surprised if he is a non runner tomorrow.
