Three shortlisted :-
Captain Colby lightly raced coming into form. Buick back on. Final Venture - only 4yo but is holding form tremendously well. Very consistent. Hoof It old stager who still retains a lot of ability. Can't be ignored. |

Significant rain forecast for Saturday which I think scuppers Related's chances. Also no McNamara!
Back to the drawing board. |

Think pace will be centre to high, if rain comes id be of the thought that Mukaynis is a monster price, you can forgive runs at Chester , wisih draw, cheekpieces on, and at Goodwood was up with the pace earlier than usual..go back to the dash on easier ground and his fine 4th to Caspian prince, has won here as well..40s in a place..

gone for final venture running well all season and improving with a saver on pipers note seems to have found its form but it is the usual lottery

Very pleased. Buick gave it a great ride. The horse was clearly on song. Quickened and won very nicely.

A day to forget for me as I had a fairly hefty A/P win bet on Idaho at 2-1 along with numerous other losing bets. Gulp. |
