Seventh Heaven is also been entered for the Moyglare Blandford Stakes over 10f on 11th Sept at the Curragh and the Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot over 12f (against the colts), but I think the above race is the main target given she needed every bit of the 12f Darley Yorkshire Oaks to show her best.
Seventh Heaven is rated 130, just 1lb below Minding. |

Must have fast ground

I would imagine Even Song will be laid out for this and I would ignore her last two runs.

I suspect Seventh Heaven will run next in the Prix Vermeille (G1). That race would be at her mercy granted decent ground.
Where do you getting a rating of 130 Impossible123? |

Seventh Heaven is rated 130 in the Racing Post 'Big Race Entries', and on Official Rating she's been raised 4lb to 118 in today's Sporting L*** 'Weights and Measures'or just 2lbs below Minding (120); I cannot see Seventh Heaven going for the 'Vermeille' (and 'Arc') when there are Minding and Found already. I believe this is one of 3 possibles for Seventh Heaven - the other 2 are the Moyglare Blandford Stakes at the Curragh on 11th Sept and the Ascot, Qipco Champion Stakes on Oct 15th over, both over 10f; I do not think Even Song is good enough on her favoured soft ground to take on Weld's Zhukova and others in this race even. |

This is the only option for Seventh Heaven, according to AOB, hence a probable showdown between Seventh Heaven and Zhukova, both conquerors of Found, the 'Arc' winner. And Mild weather is anticipated for next week too at Ascot which will be Seventh Heaven friendly.
Judging from the betting market Found is more likely to be crossing sword with Almanzor again in the Champion Stakes with Minding heading for the QEII Stakes to do battle with the likes of Ribchester and Galileo Gold. |

Seventh Heaven is a good thing if the weather keeps up

Is Speedy Boarding, the conqueror of So Mi Dar at Chantilly, a runner? I read somewhere the trainer saying she'd probably go to stud as Ascot would come too soon for her, and this would be her final year. Even her owner/breeder confirmed after the 'Opera' she'd be heading to the paddocks.

Fanshawe is saying that if she is in good form she will run. I wouldn't back it until the final decs though.

seventh heaven guys will steam roll'em if she runs..........double her up with minding.........

I think the improvement in the ground condition (good) has started an early contraction in the price of Seventh Heaven already eg from 9/4 into 7/4, whereas Zhukova, the 2nd 'fav', has drifted 7/2 from 11/4.

Will back Seventh Heaven win.

Am going for Zhukova. I like this filly a lot, has been trained specifically for this race all season and think her style of running will be well suited to the course. I hope a lot of money comes for Seventh Heaven and will go in late. GLA.

I had been waiting to lay Seventh Heaven after her last win as I thought she was odds on to put in a regressive run afterwards. The problem now is she's had a break for nearly two months which gives her a better chance of recovery and I really don't know how she'll perform in these circumstances so I won't be laying her but still couldn't entertain backing her at the current price in a race which is usually trappy by nature.

Not Moore's finest hour for sure, especially after he had seen that being close to the pace was crucial in the stayers race.

Moore had a nightmare of a ride on Seventh Heaven here. Let's hope he redeems himself in the Fillies and Mares Turf in the Breeders Cup at Santa Anita next month, her price is out to 10/1 from 6/1 as a consequence.
Maybe Moore is a better jockey on a straight course. |
