Jallota 10/1

Think this is a good bet. Horse in the form of his life and straight 7f on decent ground looks ideal.

Form of York handicap win worked out very well with runner up Heavens Guest running 2nd in Bunbury Cup next time and the 3rd Glen Moss running 3rd in the Wokingham and easily beating Coulsty, who ties in with the fav, on his next two runs. Jallota was giving them 7 and 8 pounds and beat them 2 1/2L quite comfortably.

Good run over a mile at York after that behind Mutakayyef, now rated 118, stamina clearly stretched towards the end, he had Gabrial 1 1/4L behind and he went on to win a listed race next time before running well in 3 decent Group races, including the Sussex.

He then ran 2nd at Deauville behind Jimmy Two Times who went on to finish 3rd in the Maurice De Gheest on his next start, Steip Amach was 5L behind him and she went on to run 3rd to Qemah in the Prix Rothschild.

He had an easy task on paper in his last run at Haydock and never came off the bridle to win by 4 1/2L, looking like a horse at his peak.

He is now rated 110, 5 pounds off Home Of The Brave but id argue on a form line with Dutch Connection and Jimmy Two Times there shouldnt be that much between them, I also dont think the straight flat track is ideal for Home Of The Brave. He is closely matched with Convey who is probably better at a mile, and Markaz is seemingly well held by the fav on this seasons form.

Id have him half the price tops and at least 3rd choice, I think hes nailed on to go close and not often you can say that about a 10/1 shot in a smallish field.
