its a 7 furlong race...........UK already has following group 1's from 5 f to 8f
1. 5f.................two
2. 6f.................four
3. 8f.................four
thats 10 group 1's from 5f to 8f...............im talking all ages here guys...................THERE IS NO WAY LENNOX SHOULD BE A GROUP 1...............WITH ALL THE INTERNATIONAL GROUP 1'S THAT NOW EXIST, THE LAST THING WE NEED ARE MORE GROUP 1 RACES

I'd only agree with it if one of the other 6-8f Group 1's was dropped.
can't see the point of a 7f G1 at the same meeting as the Sussex Stakes.
I agree, no change is needed with the Sussex Stakes the following day. Why give trainers with a multitude of horses multiple options to run them at the same meeting if the Lennox and Sussex Stakes are both Gp 1? It will only encourage less competition and reduce horse racing enthusiasts the chance of seeing good horses running against one another for sure.
it was bad enough when the QEII was put on the same card as the Champion Stakes
im glad ye agree with me lads........it is pure insanity to consider having another sprint group 1.......
champions day should be scrapped also and the only race saved should be the QE11 which should be moved to september.......having a group 1 sprint race in october is a joke and the champion stakes is not needed any more
