ya i concur hes a group two horse . top class horses form doesnt look like his . hes no harbinger , singspiel or pisudski to put him up against the gurka .  well where do you go ,  i guess is the trainers thought and im happy to eat humble pie on saturday but i would say . a woodbine and a north america route with view to selling him to a top stable is where i would go with him

A bit harsh on Time Test. His run in the Juddmonte International was not too bad considering the conditions. He's frustrating to an extent as he needs his going to be seen at his best and it probably wont be quick enough at the weekend but I still think he can run into a place. The field is down to 7 runners now but I backed Time Test at 10's for this even long before the Prince of Wales in which I had Time Test at 12's. To see his odds fall into much shorter before the weather gods kick you in the bollocks isn't great but that's racing and I don't bet enough to justify greening up.
If there is/was an overrated horse out there it was/is the Japanese superstar or as I call him squid.

Maybe, hopefully he'll get quick going in the International.
Ran a great race today considering what the ground was like.

Horse is very ground dependant @ the top level, needs it on the fast side. The way this so-called summer is going, he's going to struggle on softish ground :-( Let's hope it dries up for July & Aug :-)

The rating of his Ascot win looks a bit high now but the reason why his runs have been eagerly awaited is that he runs infrequently and his limit may still be unexposed.
