I guess people expect to see a Derby winner gallop all over his companions and win his "gallop" easily. Not all horses train like that. Gosden , who knows a thing or two about training racehorses, said this after the Dante \bWings Of Desire\p is freakish. He showed me things early on that made me think ´goodness´, but he´s very laid back and his two favourite activities are eating and sleepin
The horse has made rapid improvement so I wouldn't want to knock him on the basis of a learning experience at Epsom. One other thing, it looks to me like the horse has a top of the ground action. The ground was described as soft last Tuesday at Epsom. |

One other thing. His fractions in the Dante were much the same as Golden Horn. He looks a strong stayer rather than a quickener . Other Dante winners with the similar pace profiles were Sakhee,North Light,. The fast finishers in the Dante who went on to Epsom and won were Motivator,Erhaab, Authorized.
