Only a tiny amount of rain has been forecast between now and then and I think no worse than good ground for the Oaks and Derby which will suit most runners.

Was up there on Tuesday and the going is drying out. Will be watered but would expect good to firm if the weatherman is right.

If so, what are the horses most likely to appreciate this going?

can see Weld reproducing his Ascot Gold Cup form and not making a decision about Harzand's participation until after the Coronation Cup.

Looking at Turftrax map, its good to soft all round with the soft patches being at the 12f start, just after the mile start (both patches whole track width) and then what matters tactically a soft strip on the rail coming into the straight (just past the path) and on the rail at the line. I would guess that coming down the middle might be the best tactic, even coming over to near rail and avoiding the far rail. For the oaks, the rail is out 4m so may not matter too much. For the Derby when rail moved in, the inner may have dried sufficiently. Or not.

Only rained heavy for about 20-25 mins and stopped about 1pm. I'd guess it's no worse than good/soft at worst.

Forecast is to be mainly dry now.

If the jockeys walk the course and/or look at the latest Turftrax map they will race up the stands side, especially on Friday.

I'm going up to the track after work and will have a look.

Will update later this evening.

Ya, you do that after work as I couldn't make it there myself today. I hope you borrow a horse from a stable nearby and experience the journey of the Epsom undulations.

Probably dried to the stage where it could do with a shower as it could ride dead now and perhaps stamina sapping
