I like Savello for this. Pretty safe jumper who has been running in top class company the past few seasons. Back to form at Cheltenham with a really good 4th in the Grand Annual and is a stand out 25/1 on the Sportsbook. Skelton appears to be flying as well. Not getting any younger, but not sure thats too bad a thing in this race.

I like his stablemate Rease, Captain Conan @ 40's. Been given plenty of chances I suppose, and seen sparingly, but he travelled well for a long way in The Ryanair, and coming here off of 143 is a million miles away from taking on the likes of Vautour off levels. Could have other targets, but I've had a few quid on, in the chance Nicky Henderson can make it 4 in a row.
Dromnea @ 25's has been running respectably over further this season, but his second to Rossvoss a few months ago, made me want to have a look over this trip. Owners like to send them round here, so be surprised if he doesn't go, and think he as a squeak of giving in form trainer Mouse Morris a big race double.
Fago @ 25's looked the winner in this 2 years ago, before getting the big ditch 4 out totally wrong. Couple of minor mistakes last time in The Grand Sefton, but don't think he was pushed too hard that day, and think he could go well here.
Finally Mr Moonshine @ 40's. Has returned this season in decent form after a dismal 14/15 season. Likes the course, and the trip is much more suitable than The National, where he blatantly didn't stay. Placed in a Becher as well, and yard no stranger to big hcap winners.
A few quid on them EW, and been chipping away at them on here as well.
I like Savello as well CCM (hope it's a kinder race to you this year), and also fellow Irish raiders from WPM, Alelchi Inois and Urano.

Wont mate well done on Savello decent price, on Bennys Well in Topham ew have very decent track record, and goes on most ground conditions. Has highest mark i think to overcome but at 16s should give run for money.

Cheers Stevo, yeah he softened the blow of a poor day.
I like Bennys as well, looks pretty solid, and don't think he was overly punished for what was a pretty easy Grand Sefton win. Interesting that he's the only one Trainer is sending (same could be said of Pipe & La Vaticane) and think you'll get a decent run.
Couple of mine w/d, not overly concerned about Captain Conan as expected him to maybe go elsewhere, but had a bigger bet on Fago
Happy enough with Dromnea & Mr Moonshine though, hope they go, and I'll add another on the day, probably Corrin Wood, lot better from him in The Kim Muir, and reckon he's a wee bit overpriced on that run, especially at this trip. Should be a price as well, so don't have to go mad.

Having watched the re-run of last years race, Turban was going ominously well in fifth when he fell at the third last. He then ran a great race at Punchestown in a competitive handicap. Looks to have been laid out for another crack at the race. Decent pipe opener behind Boston Bob and On His Own a few weeks ago, won't mind the ground good to soft or softer and could see him going off fav with Ruby on board.
Taken the 20's and going to top up at 16's.

I have bet Turban(33/1) and Dromnea(25/1) so far. I don't really fancy Turban at the current prices though as he is a hold up horse, and they have a terrible record in this race, with lots of luck required in runing. He was going well last year though so at a big price he was worth a stab.
Much prefer Dromnea. Looks to have been targeted at this race for some time. Handles soft ground over further(slight non stayer last couple imo) but i think would be ideally suited by good to soft over this distance. Is a big scopy prominent racer who if he takes to it has a massive chance.
Bennys Mist is solid but think unlikely to win unless its proper soft. Fairy Rath needs it good to have any chance which looks unlikely at the moment.Rathlin i like but is short enough in market for me.Village Vic had a hard race at cheltenham.Ruben Cotter looks like his confidence has gone. That'll do for now.

Penguin Keeper 29 Mar 16 11:52 Any views on this race?
Thought Rathlin looked interesting off lower mark than last year. In form now as won last time out....
I agree, taken 16/1 BOG

FAIRY RATH..25-1 e.w. Seemed to enjoy himself in this last year when 2nd, took a few liberties with the fences but carrying only 10 stone, worth a punt.

gone for Cocktails at Dawn 22/1 ew - worried about the ground but that's offset by the fact that price slightly bigger than antepost is available and NJH horses are running well.
