Spent some time on it,Irish horses won 7/9 last renewals, only being repelled twice in that time by two of nicholls.
The trend has been toward younger brigade, only 2/12 over the age of 6,both irish. The recent winners from Ireland normally had a few runs in their big handicaps,no doubt to test the water, and to see what mark those around them are on. Make no mistake, when they come across for races like the betfair, there is more than one reason, they want to see how they are rated over here. So, looking for horse with few miles on the clock, hidden agenda that season, preferably with some back form on good ground, and I also think form up to 2m 4f is helpful. Stuck 3 up on the NH thread who fit the profile, all around 50/1,Ivan Grozny run in january was the most eyecatching seen. GL however you play. |

thats strange noc as I put him up as my outsider, Townend won this last year given whose race it is Mullins would like to win it and good ground think it will be thereabouts 70\1 on here
