Got to get away from these Chelt. h'caps, betting too many horses and too much money.
BEREA BORU 20-1 e.w., 6lb out of h'cap if Sausalito Sunrise runs but why would he run here?, no horse as won this carrying 11-12. Go to Kelso for a virtual match with Many Clouds, not going to ruin him for rest of season. Berea Boru only entered here has improved to win last 2. Looked in trouble last time at one stage so could have reached his mark with further 6lb rise but ran on to be well on top by the finish. Suggests he may be suited by extra 9f. Martin Pipe's entries would be a big threat, didn't have a runner last year but won the 4 before that. But he has too many entered to know which one.
Sausalito Sunrise got 4 options - the two you mention plus the Ultima Handicap Chase at the Festival and could potentially be supplemented for the Gold Cup - I saw somewhere that Hobbs said the Gold Cup was the least likely of those.
I'm pretty sure the Scottish National has been the long term target for Sausalito so tend to agree that the Kelso race is most likely.

If SS is being prepped for Scottish National as suggested
Anyway like your pick. The way it picked up from its mistake ( not actually a mistake, sprawled on landing ) at Chepstow shows like you say that open to more.

Thinking of using Big Race thread to see how I do with solely non-h'caps. Started to think it jinxed me last year, hence kept of the jumps one. Don't know if I'm suited to it, always very in or out. Its already too late for my Lincoln bets so prob just non-h'caps, can't seem to keep my own records so would be useful.

Berea Boru is unlikely to turn out again quickly in Saturday's Betfred Eider at Newcastle.
Peter Bowen's eight-year-old is all stamina, as he showed when winning at Ffos Las on Sunday.
However, given the ultra-testing conditions he faced in Wales, Bowen would rather give him time to recover to prepare for the Midlands National at Uttoxeter next month.
"I don't think he'll go, it will come too quick, especially given how bad the ground was," said Bowen.
"The race I'd like to run him in is the Midlands National, he should get in now. To be honest I didn't think he'd get in at Newcastle, which was why we ran him on Sunday, but now it seems he would have done, which is a shame given there's such good prize money.
"Believe it or not, he might be eight but I still think he's a bit backward and you won't see the best of him until he gets four miles. He's a novice on the up which I think is what you want in these stamina tests."

Red Devil Lads & Shotgun Paddy ew for me. Surprised the handicapper has left Shotgun on the same mark as last time. And RDR because Rebecca's horses are backing in form, horse has had a nice break and jockey booking Tom Obrien stands out a bit, 15 % S/R at the track, 16/1 and 28/1.ew
