lost the last one,so this is short.Giovanni Canaletto,carries head too high cant see it coming down the hill.
If he wins you might as well give up punting on this race.
Everyones scratching their heads this year,besides how many decent horses doe this race throw up theses days?[Camelot Sea The Stars yes ok]but you then get Ruler of The World Kris Kin etc.Just because this race is staged doesnt mean you always have to punt on it.

As is the case for any race
I don't understand the criticism this great race often gets. It's a test for immature horses running over a trip that takes some getting at this stage of their careers, which is why they'd receive 15lbs from older horses at that time of year. It's obviously not a race for fully mature champions. Some winners will continue to improve into more mature champions, naturally others won't. Taken for what it is I think it's generally one of the easier races in the calendar.
