Some bookmakers have already started pricing up the 2016 Derby where horses haven't even been named yet (well done those few). 3. Bookies need to be braver given that they have a lot more competition nowadays. They're in control of the book and study horses for a living. They should be winning on every race. 4. We don't know the form of these horses either!
