Irish Grand National - Lots Of Memories

This horse was a decent novice hurdler last season ending the season rated 151 due to running well against Beat That and Don Poli at the Punchestown festival. Prior to that he won a decent hcp hurdle at the Irish Grand National meeting; it must have been at this point the trainer started thinking about the following years Irish Grand national, given how well he handled the course. Significanlty both these good runs were over 3miles, he's a stayer.

He's faced some tough tasks during his novice chase season, running in graded races against the best around on ground that never sees him at his best, consequently he runs in this off 138, well below his hurdle rating, which was no doubt the aim! He's a decent fencer and trainer has stated he's in good form.

I think he has a great chance in a race where novices have an excellent record, Pady P0wer are a standout 25/1.
