My 50p e/w Lucky 15 for this year will win £50k if they all come in  Excited

2000g - Gleneagles (O'Brien) 8/1 - 5-1-12-4-0 (1.2) (0.32)
Has won 4 group races, including 2 group 1's (although was disqualified in Gran Griterium). All wins on Good/Good to Firm.  Galileo out of a mare who won the Group 2 Cherry Hinton and was a 1 length 3rd in a G1 over a mile. Hopefully it goes for Newmarket, good e/w if it does IMO.

1000g - Together Forever (O'Brien) 14/1 - 6-0-15-4-1 (1.08) (0.23)
Won the G1 Dubai Fillies Mile at Newmarket in October on Good to Soft. Also won on Good to Firm.  It'll stay further than a mile, but has the pace for a mile, has a bit of class and 'tough as teak' according to some reports out there. Great E/W IMO

Derby - Sir Isaac Newton (O'Brien) 20/1 - 4-2-14-4-0 (1.18) (0.25)
Galileo again out of Shayste who is the dam to an Oaks 2nd (Secret Gesture). Lots of promise on first run and would expect this to improve into a genuine Derby contender.  A bit of a punt, but for The Derby nobody should look further than Aidan O'Brien's horses.

Oaks - Jellicle Ball (Gosden) 25/1 - 4-3-14-5-0 (1.17) (0.23)
Gosden has a winner, two thirds, a fourth and a fifth in the last 5 years, so his runners can't be ignored.  I have a hunch that this one could be his main Oaks challenger this year as comments suggest she is going the Oaks trial route

Only a bit of fun, but a bet like this helps to keep the racing buzz going following Cheltenham and into the start of the flat.

Like the 3 AOB choices.  I have Sir Isaac Newton for the Derby at 25s, Gleneagles at 14s for the 2000 Guineas, and Found at 16s for the 1000 Guineas, though I can see Together Forever as a strong second choice for the 1000.

Not so sure on the Oaks, at the moment.

My own choice Ante Post is 40/1 AOB to win all 5 classics, and 14/1 for him to win 4 of 5.

I did that AOB wager as well deepingfox, but mine was 100/1 all five and 33/1 to get any four, not 4 or 5.   Cursory Glance getting pulled helped and the flood of dosh for Gleneagles is encouraging. Restricted stakes but at those prices it's a nice bit of fun, specially if Guineas weekend goes well for him although at this stage High Celebrity is a much bigger winner for me in the 1000.

My each way yankee is:

Richard Pankhurst: Think he's comprehensively overpriced. Look at the ease and distance he beat Toscanini with, and compare it to Gleneagles.

High Celebrity: Obvious chance. Will Found be 100% for the day? You never know with Aiden's guineas runners.

Words: Extremely taking debut, could be anything, highly likely to be an Oaks filly. Obviously a very tough market to have a firm opinion in with so many of the candidates being so unexposed.

Ol Man River: I thought he looked every inch a Derby horse in the Beresford. Slight concern about stamina on dams side?

£780k if those four win, fingers crossed Crazy

Great stuff all, you've got to be in it to win it! And how much more interesting are the classic trial months knowing that you have some stakehold in every result?

Good luck with your selections, if mine don't win then I hope yours do  Cool

2,000 Guineas - 8-1 - Ivawood. Value for me esp. given Hannon yard's record in this race.
1,000 Guineas - 8-1 - High Celebrity. Things conspired against her last season, Fabre knows what it takes & clearly holds her in the highest esteem.
Oaks - 20-1 - Beautiful Romance. Liked the way she won her maiden at Doncaster last season. Sire - New Approach. Looks an Oaks prospect.
Derby - 14-1 - Elm Park. Like the R.Post Trophy as a Derby pointer. Again, looks the value compared to the AOB market leaders.

Classics always worth a speculative AP e/w lucky 15 & always stick a bit more on the acca Grin

It's looking likely now that both Gleneagles and Together Forever will both get runs in their respective Guineas, with the Gleneagles plunge last week and TF shortening up today.

It would be nice to see some movement for SIN and JB, to really get my heart pumping a bit. But happy with the L15 so far

Nice run by Jellicle Ball, I'm really pleased with that.  All four still on target and lower in price  Grin

I do a win accumulator on the first four classics every year.  I'll wait until Guineas week. I need a new car for €10. Happy
In 2006 I had 3 of 4 incl 16/1 and 14/1.

Get in Gleneagles.  Pity about Together Forever.  I bet even AOB is regretting not running it as all the other trainers are obviously a fair bit behind.

Get on the Qualify!

Gosden backers, when will you learn that he is a brilliant trainer but just does not target the 2000g like AOB does?
