Expected back in a couple of weeks.
I've always liked this horse and obviously will have to prove it retains its ability after a break.
With Sprinter Sacre hopefully heading to the Champion Chase will Henderson be tempted to send Captain Conan for the Ryanair as I can't see another Henderson entry. Won a grade 1 at Aintree over 2 1/2 miles.
Thoughts?

It's a fair shout at the price. I know they always said he wasn't suited to Cheltenham though (despite the SDG form), so may be tempted to wait for Aintree. Also comeback run may be a little close to Cheltenham. I know with ss they were keen to have a reasonable break between comeback and Cheltenham so may go the same with this one.

Backed him for the CC last year... Was really disappointed when he pulled him... I think should still try him in the CC again...but definitely worth a dabble in the Ryanair if you got those odds... But I think Ryanair will be very competitive this year with Dynaste, Cue Card... Don Cossack and Champagne fever to say the least! But good luck!

Like most Henderson chasers, he has been expected to run soon since November. I would not back any of them until they run well.
