thought Beautiful Romance looked
good @ Donny when she won. Impressive, could be an Oaks filly. Around the 20s mark atm. |
By:
blimey i have a reply in the ghost forum(cheers mate.lol)
That was the same day Star of Seville also looked impressive on Town Moor.Beautiful Romance,as you said, looked really decent.Do you know Penzance,if she wintered in Dubai? Also her being out of a Cape Cross mare she shouldn't be hindered by better going. N |

Not a big follower of the AW,what did people make of Convey at Kempton?
By:
blimey what happened there
By:
I liked the look of Golden Horn when he won at Nottingham towards the end of last season. I think he could go very well in the Guineas.
By:
Convey looked pretty smart at Kempton and was well supported on the day which is perhaps a little unusual for a Stoute juvenile. He 'could be anything' but to me he's probably listed or G3 rather than G1.
I thought Words was ultra impressive in her maiden win in Ireland, looks a filly of real potential so I'v backed her for the Oaks. |
By:
thanks for replys, watched Golden Horns win again last night, did well to win as really was 'as green as grass'
Agree with Go all in Words, looked like she could be anything, one thing about Convey, how many stoute runners race in a sheepskin nose ban,let alone first time up? |
By:
I'd guess not many would first time out.
By:
sj golden horn is very well regarded i was on at 10s, 13/2 and 5/1 that day. Waiting to hear how he has been training and what is expected for weds

cheers Sj- ps today taneen first race at salisbury is working with steps at home (not sure reg jockeys weights) but he is working every bit as well as him
By:
keep with him
By:
wow cant believe what i just watched there... been a long season so i won't judge him to harshly (since fielden, then readied for a KG) bound to take its toll. Race looks like one of them that i could try and look at for 100 years but still would never be able to work that result out. Be Int what he does now..

ZEST won the same maiden at Doncaster that Star of Seville did, despite being in front for too long and running green. There are excited noises coming out of Pegasus stables.....
By:
ZEST to be entered for the Prix de Diane Hermes and also likely to be entered for the 1000 guineas.
By:
hi rboyd86. any update on first victory in hq? Like to think she could have a big yr starting in guineas then oaks. cheers
By:
said i wasn't going to post any more inf after stick i just got for answering a question regarding emotionless. However I no they thought world of her last year, not heard anything reg her so far this year. All ill say is keep royal artillery on side, and if you look at the horses i put up last year reg stable then that should be a hint
By:
first time i've seen this thread and all i can say is i hope you choose to ignore the idiots RBoyd86, as your record on this thread cant be faulted!! most impressive and hope you made plenty with the Horn, Mahsoob etc last season
By:
Yes I hadn't seen this either... world class stuff RBoyd. No idea what happened on the other thread, but probably best to ignore the idiots.
By:
thanks boys! Was a very quiet thread last year not many seemed to see unfortunately as getting 3 horses like that, especially derby 1-2 is a very rare feet. Was on both on debuts at 10-1 down to 7-2 on the horn and 6-1 down to 3-1 on jack went of lot shorter. Was told to have all i could on mashed on debut
By:
mahsoob. Lets hope a few pop up this year heard a few whispers but nothing totally confirmed yet , will stick a couple of if i get anything solid!
By:
Great stuff rboyd. Ignore the haters. We can all choose to take or leave what u say. Bring out the flat season!!!!
