Thanks Fab, with all this modernity, races seem to be
handicapped much slower than the 1960s/70s and 80s, I
was backing in the November Handicap 2 months or more
in those days, we are only 19 days off the date of the race.

For the last couple of seasons the entries have only been made public at the 5-day stage if I remember correctly

Every thing is on computer these days and they take longer to
give the weights, if we are up to date we can guess with some
certainty, but it would be better if the certainty was definite.
