Surely his price is way too big... she has had an interupted preparation... so explains her latest run... but should be given the chance to redeem herself...

Last year she was so impressive when winning the Arc she was drawn 15 ... which is quite difficult to win from there and you need to be classy to do that.

Excuses last time, hopefully trainer will have her spot on... and Im hoping they can sort out jockey arrangements... Franke is my preference as he does get on with the horse.. and having being jocked off may give him more incentive to win this time...

Im willing to giver her another chance @10/1 as the price is way too big...

Good Luck

She is 17/1 on here? Personally the only chance I would give her is if the going turned Soft. I wouldn't want to touch her on Good ground as she seems to get outbattled on it.

She had all the allowances last year and whilst it's rare for a dual winner of the Arc (Alleged and Ribot spring to mind) I don't think a filly has ever won it twice. Personally I don't think she's trained on, but good luck with your bet.

Doesn't seem the same horse as last season.
Report Millerracing67 September 28, 2014 7:27 PM BST
Could not have her with "bad" money.
Think she should be retired imo.
Physical probs & not progressed from 3/4.
Report EastLower Gooner September 28, 2014 9:03 PM BST
according to people who know about horses than me she's got back problem is still there...wasn't striding put at all well last time...
Report A_T September 28, 2014 9:17 PM BST
First run this year was very good so I think it's physical problems rather than not having trained on. Would only consider her for the Arc is it was softf

I dont think the ground will be that much of an issue...she has won on good... positive vibes are coming out from the stable which is good in regard to its wellbeing.. so maybe she has overcome some of the physical issues...

If she can return to somewhere near last years form should be enough and in the RP trainer quotes "A lot of work has gone into it and the objective has always been to make her a double Arc winner."

So my fingers are crossed!

wouldn't touch her - shadow of her former self, injured all year.

Positive vibes has been coming from trainer for last two runs and look what happened. As previous poster said, had all the allowances last year and when was the last time a horse won this race back to back. Going into this race you need everything to have gone right and for Treve everything has gone wrong this season. I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

based on the draw... he should win his side of the draw... and thats where the advantage is... all favs are drawn high... so will be interesting to see end result

Thanks Facts...

I must admit the thread was very negative to the horses ability this season... but dont think this years lot were good enough... bar Tagroodha and Kingston Hill...

I think when Treve was given the low draw... I thought he would be backed ...couldnt believe when I saw 12/1... what a eachway
Report knot in wood October 5, 2014 8:15 PM BST
yes well done irisdebalme.

i backed her(aftertime i know) at 6-1 before the trial run Cry

my theory was that she would win the trial, and be half the price for the arc.

that backfired and she was double the odds instead.

WD OP. I couldn't touch the horse on this seasons runs but the beauty of racing is that it's all about opinions.

Thanks ... I know its a she...

"Last year she was so impressive ..."

but admittedly I seem to address all horses as he...cant seem to get out of this habit... may suggest fillies where or skirt or something to help me...

or might just call them by their name ...which is easier.

Best laugh in WEEKENDER, FALLON says she is a cripple,
I wish I owned her, big brag coming now, coupled her with BRONZE ANGEL,
Cambridgeshire winner, 33/1 and like a previous poster took 6 for TREVE!!!

Next year the ARC will be run at Chantilly,
refurbishment taking place at Longchamp.
Report A_T October 20, 2014 2:43 PM BST
I understood the refurbishment had been delayed until 2016
Report bazzar October 20, 2014 2:59 PM BST
I stand corrected if that is so.
