A competitive looking heat. The 2nd, 3rd, 6th & 7th from the Oaks reoppose. The 1st & 2nd from the Ribblesdale at Ascot. The 1st & 3rd from the Irish Guineas.
O'Brien saddles 5 and Joseph rides Tapestry who was 6th last time in the Coronation over a mile. She steps up to 12f today. On her dam's side their is plenty of classy milers but with the Galileo influence it could bring about improvement. Interesting jockey choice for sure though.
I like Marvellous. The Oaks may have come too quickly for her last time and with Ryan back doing the steering will do for me. GL.
Think any one of about six can win this including fav, in terms of value, Volume just shades it for me , she did plenty up front in the Oaks so was surprised Tarfasha did not run past her , don't know why they tried to lead all the way at Epsom because winning a classic from the front is seldom achieved , anyway a little each way on her .gl

Agree with mac that it's a wide open affair. I'm doubtful that one filly is going to emerge that will dominate for the rest of the season. It looks the kind of race where whoever is best on the day wins but if they met again in a month's time there would probably be a different result. The betting should be more open, imo, so I'm laying the fav purely on value grounds.

Again; it does look very open in the Ire Oaks 2day. The ground staying on the fast side will suit the fav imo. Would not want 2 play on her tho until I see her at the start. She got a bit buzzed up at Epsom before the Oaks & was getting upset in the stalls just before the off at Epsom. If she is more settle 2day (a home gig) she will be the 1 to beat in my book. Tapestry is the dark horse for me if she stays the new trip well, ground will suit & is 1st choice on bookings. Will wait till race time before having any play (if any) Gd luck with your bets lads.

I have backed Tarfasha because I think the more testing nature of the Curragh will suit her better than Epsom. Still not convinced that she needs the ground rattling quick like connections say but I guess Galileo's Rock put up his best peformance on fast ground in the Irish Derby and they are related so..
