it got 2 miles as a 3y/o so the extra half mile shouldn't be a problem on quick ground. I'm also on Brown Panther e/w, I think it's between these 2. Also had a cheeky place-only bet on Ralston Road at 25/1

Last year they went a moderate gallop , then sprinted for the line,  same again will suit  leading light and  Brown Panther

If it turns into a Stayers race  then
Altano  who  always seems to be ridden too far off the pace has a fair e/w chance,  finished third in the Goodwood Cup and  fifth in the Gold cup last year so go for him to cause a small upset gl

Had a little bit of the 5.6 on here about Leading Light some time ago.
Its a case of if he stays he wins imo, & I think he will stay & win.

No real strong view on these races but even though I liked Leading Light last year I'd say he wasn't in the same class as their previous winners like Fame and Glory, win or lose he's ridiculously short. Brown Panther has to be the value.

The trouble is most of the alternatives to the favourite prefer cut in the ground. A watching race for me.

I think connections are spot on in what they said about BP, just because he handles soft ground really well he's been labelled a soft ground horse. The ground was very similar to today when he won the Goodwood Cup last year.

Well done LL backers, he did it well enough considering how it was run. BP didn't help his chances of staying with being keen early but probably didn't quite stay anyway.

yep, he doesn't stay. Travelled really well on the ground for most of the way.
