I may be wide of the mark , but soft ground or good ground, Should Kingston Hill not be favourite for this race? . His run in the 2000 was fine , got a bit outpaced initially when he followed a number of runners over to the Standside and in truth was always struggling a bit with the pace , then again he ran on well at the end to be beaten only five lengths or so in to eighth .
The standside race may have been a a bit tougher than the race on the other side , that is my opinion ofcourse . True Story will get my e/w support in the Derby if he can beat this fellow , but i don't think he will .
Yes, if True Story beats K Hill over 10.5 furlongs on soft ground in a smallish field I'll be amazed. Kind of hoping the market retains the blue belief though.
