I will be having two or three entries. Treve runs this weekend so need to make my mind up quickly.
What's happened to Farhh? He doesn't seem to be in the list. |
|
By:
retired to stud I think.
|
|
By:
^^^^ He was. Treve does run this Sunday, but the comp does not start till next Sat (2000gns day.)
Will have a couple of entries for a bit of fun. Gd luck lads. |

£13,200's worth of entries as I speak, if the entries double in the next 6 days then after they have taken their 30% deductions there should be enough prize money to cover 3 of the monthly prizes .

The jumps version had its lowest pay out in its history.
They were too embarrassed to print the full leader board with prizes. The winner won £124,987 the other 9 placed winners shared £37,000. The monthly prizes were bigger than the majority of leader board places. I will be concentrating more on Hills's the jumps next year. This years Flat version is doomed and will lead to its demise. |

The T0te themselves won £70,000 on this years national hunt comp
|
|
By:
The approximate odds of winning this years flat comp is about 3,000/1
If you win you will get about 200/1 |
|
By:
The odds of winning the 2013/14 NH comp were 25,248/1
The same odds applied to winning a monthly prize. The winner received odds of 12,400/1 The best odds a placed 2nd - 10th received was 300/1 The odds received for winning a monthly prize were 999/1 |

A NAP horse on my list will be Kingman sint.
He looks the real deal to me. |
|
By:
Kingman & Treve in 98% of the entries, welcome to the 8 to follow.
Leave them out and they win, your cooked, omit them and you still have a 98% chance of winning Aka Sprinter Sacre was in the Nh winners 10 selections. |
|
By:
The 7 most poular selections, each top of their respective distance/Gender/grade 1 category:
1st Kingman 2nd Treve 3rd Australia 4th Rizeena 5th Magician 6th Toronado 7th Leading Light The order of 7 most popular selected star horses out of the above: 1st Kingman 2nd Australia 3rd Treve 4th Rizeena 5th Toronado 6th Leading Light 7th Magician |

Kingman
Treve Australia Rizeena Magician Toronado Leading Light The betfair do I or don't I omit them from my lists. hmmm If you omit anyone of the above from your lists and they come through(score highly)then they will certainly be in the winners selections. and one of them will almost certainly be top...but which one....the conundrum. |
|
By:
Kingman
Treve Australia Rizeena Magician Toronado Leading Light The betfair do I or don't I make one my star horse. hmmm These 7 combined will be in at least 80% of the lists, so... Which one will win most and which one will win at the biggest prices. |
|
By:
I have all of those in my list with the exception of Leading Light. They do make the foundations of a string list.

not wholly convinced by Rizeena personally and I suspect Mukhadram will be overlooked amongst the older horses.
Hard to get away from those most popular picks though. |

Well it’s 24 hours on from the last count and the pot has increased from £13,200 to £16,800, that means 360 people entered yesterday, the last weekend before the start.....traditionally a big entry day.
£16,800 less £5040 for the T0te administration deductions and we have £11,760 remaining, that’s just over an amount needed to cover 3 of the 6 promised monthly prizes. I know a lot of people leave it late for entering and a lot enter through the shops, a facility they omitted from the NH comp this year that definitely hit entry numbers. But looking through the lists as I counted, I could see all the names of the usual big hitters and they have considerably reduced their entry sizes. The 2013/14 NH comp entries fell short by more than half from the previous year, couple that with this year being a particularly bad season for high profile injuries and it must certainly take its toll on future entries, at least it will make people look closer at the very poor value they are getting. We all know that the Flat comp is a very poor relation to the NH one and usually falls short of entries by at least 75%, even last year when it was only £5 per stable to enter. Taking all into account I cannot see the entries doubling from the present count, leaving the T0te with a real dilemma, will they change the prize structure, will they reduce the ridiculous amount they deduct (supposedly for admin) or will they prop it up. |
|
By:
I see you haven't entered yet JOCI and I know you had a complete disaster with injuries that must have left a bitter taste in your mouth, particularly so when you had uncovered a couple of real gems (I wont say them loudly) that surely would have been real differentials had you not lost so many key horses. Will you be entering or have cracks started to appear in the JOCI syndicate?

I'd love it if CDA is included in a load of lists. I would not be surprised if he does not win another race this season.

By:
Waiting til later in week for our entries...still finalising lists / combinations etc. Why enter before you absolutely have to, with the threat of late injuries / withdrawals and running plans becoming clearer etc.
Will have 25 - 30 entries. |
