The New One hasn't beaten My Tent, has he? I know he was unlucky at Cheltenham but I still don't make him 11/10 and MTOY 3/1
I'd have thought, with Annie Power being a respected adversary, 15/8 TNO, 2/1 MTOY, 3/1 AP, 16/1 bar would be about right.

MTOY 100/1 to ever run further than 2m in his life.
If he can't settle at that trip, what chance of him settling at a slower pace over further? |

Technically TNO has not beaten MTOY but, for me, he was the better horse at Kempton and very unlucky at Cheltenham. It's only a matter of time before the form is reversed.

suspect they wont meet and if they did over further than 2m you would favour the new one but the" excuses" are starting to stack up for him ! and this type of horse has been and will will be expensive to follow !

No chance of MTOY's running. I love The New One and Annie Power, but as good as I think The New One is, I don't see him beating AP over her optimum trip.

I would agree if we are talking about constantly finding trouble or something of that ilk that we could say TNO's excuses were starting to wear thin. However in the CH the horses momentum was severely impacted to such an extent it makes a conclusion on his final finishing position extremely difficult. Would like to point out he has beaten MTOY at the Aintree champion bumper and a level stakes bet on this horse is still profitable exercise

I wasn't particularly a TNO fan. But that all changed in the Champion Hurdle which he would have won nicely without getting badly hampered. Did very well to finish as close as he did, many would have given up. And he hurdled the best I've seen him at Cheltenham which suggests he's improving in that regard
2m or 2m4f, he's the best of the current (very good) crop. Though Hurricane clearly not as good at Cheltenham as he is in Ireland and might be capable of better at Pucnhestown |

yea ,did not jump that well and looked taken off his feet when the pace lifted ,prob needs a cut in ground as well as a jockey

Can't really see past TNO. If it were to come up heavy (very Doubtful) then I might dip my toe in with Melodic Rendezvous for a bit of fun.

can't disagree duffy, though would call it "edged" right, rather than "out", a much stronger term where a horse loses clear ground in the air imo.
He jumped as fast as he has ever done, and pretty sure he has jumped right on plenty of occasions before so no doubt would be better going the other way round |

Fair enough I suppose to say edged right, although the 4th last he rather ballooned that one out to the right, the others were edged yes, but anything other than straight must cost a degree of momentum as there would be a need for correction of sorts after each flight, must all add up to something lost in terms of the final position.
