what a bizzare sp when Ballycasey was shorter than him for the RSA 4 weeks ago....bonkers betting.

I can see why Don Cossack was favourite. He won a Grade 1 over a furlong shorter on his most recent start, beating Carlingford Lough in the process. His rivals look like they'll be better over 2m 5f. Ground was in his favour also. He had no excuses yesterday but if the other two had lost they would have had theirs imo. Ballycasey had a setback since his last run and would probably be better on better ground and over further.

its easy to say the betting was bonkers after the race Howdi. Why not back him before if it's not an afterthought? OK you didn;t bet in the race but like I say everything looks simple in hindsight.
