It is disgusting and degrading! I can see only ONE reason why people get the p!ss taken out of them on here or are basically called names if they post a bet that has since won or a lay that has lost as a bout of jealousy! If you can give me ONE good reason as to why it is not jealousy then i will gladly and sheepishly go away and never talk of it again. Its just a nasty thread end of!

I have had many a conversation about it in my local and everybody agrees with me, after a race we like to talk about whether we have had the winner or not and congratulate each other regularly. I know you lot don't do shops very often but i do, in fact it is an excellent way to follow the markets with your iphone or other such small devise and bet accordingly thus avoiding getting shut down or restricted. Maybe i just no of a very decent local that lets you do this, there is often a good atmosphere too.

Why can't anyone post a bet they have had and had success from therefore get congratulate upon? It was a nice surprise to me last night seeing one on the horse racing forum where people were congratulating the OP, i said as much myself and feared for his post to be put on that thread (and it was) and got seriously bad press from it, in fact it was like a witch hunt!

don,t aftertime and you don,t end up on the thread simples....

is that the village local you are on about sts?. villages tend to be small places where everyone tends to know each other so the atmosphere tends to be much better than walking into a citycenter bookies full of people you have never seen before...

we can all reflect on past glorys, its just some are so full of s*it with no credible evidence to back up their claims, which is the meaning of this thread....

Can you read STS? A lot of the aftertimes on here consist of pre-race thoughts that change after the result is known. If you think that is normal then good luck to you. I find it ****g hilarious, personally.

Secondly, stop being a pansy.

I love it too. Some hilarious posts on it. Every now and then someone gets called out unfairly
but apologies are usually quickly offered and accepted. The real aftertimers deserve to be exposed
because they are a pain in 4rse.

is that the village local you are on about sts?.

I don't actually live in a Village, i live in North Shields, Tyne and Wear. I feel the manager of that shop should be nominated for this years betting shop manager of the year! He often gets tix for regulars to Newcastle, Hexham or Redcar races, or even the dogs. All the regulars got together last year (i didn't hear about this till it was too late mind) and did a perm on that ten to follow thing billy hills did last spring and their up for a return on that i think one said the other week. Like i said always a good atmosphere. Though the guy is not stupid, he wont lay a bet if he don't like it, you take their shop price or walk to the said bookie and see if it is available in their shop lol.

I am kinda starting to realize i may have been a bit wrong about that thread too,Blush i can see where it is coming from now. Why people would want to post about bets that simply just cannot be true or slightly exaggerated are beyond me if really that is exactly what is happening and why it is there!

Though he did take my SDG bet at 16s Wink and DB also at 16s Wink, said at the time, "won't run"

The rule is for competitors prices if its shorter on here, go elsewhere, lol, but you can get on, cos the other cashiers rarely look on bf for uptodate prices AND they are not allowed to log into betfair either as it is slightly illegal too so the prices they see are delayed not live so sometimes a little bit of persuading is all thats needed. (show him the market of your mobile with it logged in, just not refreshed for like 20 mins or so pmsl is a good trick i use)

Yeah i was wrong

Anyways, if your local to a stan james shop, there is one out of line today.

SIR SAFIR 6/1, top price in the market at this moment, it has been 15/2, SJ's have never been bigger than 6s, but it is already lower on here, no telling how quickly they will change this price but it is a rick and is also a steamer.
