Won't make a lick of difference, since the jocks will undobtedly have got it into their heads beforehand where they are going to race - and head there.
Just look at the last meeting. 5 out of 6 races on the straight course and within a 2 furlongs they're stacked up on the far rail like it was paved with gold |

This is a Group 2 isn't it?
so why are the Group 1 winners not carrying a penalty? |
|

cant give you a reason why,but its the same in all the races,Estimate gets no pen in the stayers, same as colour vision last season.
sorry roger obviously didn't word it clearly, was trying to say who is going to lead early in race,as i cant see a front runner |

really like Jack Dexter here but he needs it genuinely soft and I don't like the draw
hard to keep out of the frame though |
|

here what you're saying Roger but there are only 14 runners. It's not like this is a 20 runner handicap. If they split into two groups or favour one side over the other they need slapping.

I like Hawkeyethenoo here. Backed him at Ayr lto but he runs well at Ascot. Interesting comments from Jim Goldie about wanting to get the best Jockey available. R.Hughes.

I like Jack Dexter also but just noticed stable is 0-29 over last 14 days prior to today, a concern for both his runners surely?

By:
definitely, I'm leaving it alone

Clerk thinks IF it remain dry until tomorrow afternoon the straight course could be Good to Soft.
I was not aware of Goldie's form, will probably leave his alone. |
