Telescope, Cirrus des Aigles, Dawn Approach, War Command - all beaten over the past two days when expected to win but all running well below expectations. Welcome to August, the month when form turns around, first half form fades and Autumn horses start to come into the picture.

War Command ran as well as he was entitled to. Telescope registered a comfortable personal best. Cirrus Des Aigles did little less than run as well as he had last time. Dawn Approach was brought back ten days after a big run. It's mid August and the sun is still shining!
