Agree was a v pleasing debut and has to be interesting for the Guineas. As you say the clock and horses in behind give substance to what was already a visually impressive performance. Think he could be anything. Most expensive ever breeze up horse in Europe I believe.

think you will find the actual time was slower than the official one, whilst the only other race on the straight track was slightly faster than officially recorded

how come pedro? are they not electronically timed at Naas>

no idea Stevie, but I don't trust the reported times in Ireland generally.
Even in the UK, there are plenty of hand times (when the electronic timing systems fail) but they are never declared as such... |

The RP site usually states when the UK times are hand times, ped. Pathetic how often the electronic times fail.

Personally I would love to see Great White Eagle line up at Donny in the Champagne Stakes, before a crack at the Dewhurst.
He travelled so well throughout over 6F though, that connections may take a 6F Group Race in on the way to the HQ. To me he looks like one of only a handful of colts seen so far, capable of becoming top of the juvenile pack. I can see Indian Maharaja being AOB's Racing Post colt, and GWE the Dewhurst Fav. |
