I once asked Corals (double rancid outfit) for two a/p prices in the following year's 1000G. One was genuine, the other was made up. They quoted/offered me 10/1 against about each.

It was otherwise (genuinely) 16/1 the field.

i.e. they made a non-existent / mythical horse their new favourite

I emailed a major bookmaker for a price on an unraced colt and filly for the 2014 Derby and Oaks and they emailed back asking for full details of the events including the dates.

Why not pester Betfair to open the market (I've asked as has others)? When they started they were innovative - now they just tamely follow the crowd.
