Danchai will probably be shorter than he really should be as he seems to be well backed every time, but is still near the top of my list.
Excellent Result might be interesting at a fair price.

Danchai is interesting for sure and you can be confident he will be shorter on the day than the he opens ante post
I'm looking at several key factors like age (no older than 5), having won at 9 furlongs or further at least in class 3, BHA at least 91
apply those and you cut the field down plenty
Clayton definitely on the horizon
will be on this regularly from now on

It's always been one of my favourite flat races (even though my first year was backing Mr Confusion who got disqualified only to be reinstated later on) and with the draw bias no longer so evident at York it's now even better.

yes I agree, cracking race, and the draw is almost irrelevant now, in fact stalls 1-7 been a slight negative lately
3 trainers that I keep an eye on Barron, Haggas and Gosden all represented with interesting horses

Danchai at 16/1 was about double what I expected but I see Haggas also has the favourite Stencibe so not sure what running plans are.

initial thoughts on the race are that whoever gains the services of five pound claimer T.Brown will be at a great advantage in a tight handicap , other apprentices would do well to watch his three winning rides at windsor last Saturday , changes his whip hand like a magician , a real talent

Not so sure about that johnny, he is a horse that travels well in his races. Would not expect Remote to line-up in this, would expect his next race to prob be G1 class. Rye House would be very interesting if it came up soft ground, but over 10f+ it would need to be, so not one u could play ante-p in that hope (soft ground) Niceofyoutotellme looks interesting imo, the form of his two races this season looks strong & he is open to more improvement. Have not seen the ante-p betting for this race yet, can someone list it up on here CHEERS.

With the weather forecast of a very warm sunny wk, fast ground would rule out Rye House & Fast or Free, both horses want ease in the ground. Niceofyoutotellme would interest me if he makes the cut, I like him.

I can see niceofyoutotellme being in the frame but fancy Educate may do it, the Dam of this horse Pasithea only ran three times ,on the third occasion she was third in the Aphrodite which is run over twelve furlongs , so Educate ( sire Echo of light ) should get the trip ok , so will go with that one for now

Max runners 20 facts. Looks a sure runner on Sat, all being well with him. Looks a big player in my book, just need a bit of luck in running, g/f ground will be ideal for him. Think the Barron's horse could prove the main danger, another smart young horse on the up-grade (Clon Brulee)
