Nick Mordin website not updated for 5 weeks (once in 2 months)- anyone know why?

No idea, and that update was late as well, maybe he's not going to do the work for free any more, a shame as agree with him or not it was interesting reading

It's a shame co his website is about my favourite thing on the internet when he's updating it regularly. |

I just paid 3.10 to access the Irish field and lo and behold it's like his old website write ups.
He must be on a retainer for them and maybe is just updaing the website when it becomes old information, ie at the end of the month. |

At least you did manage to spend 3.10. I tried to subscribe and got an error page halfway through the process.

The real shame here is he seems to be just passing opinion on top races, and that these columns were what filtered down to his website last month. Before he'd write up anything that looked good on his ratings and provided a lot more content, and was always an interesting read. |

I had an email from him saying he was no longer going to update. Claims its impacting his main income. It seems greed got the better of him, shame really as he,s a great journalist

Fair enough....was good while it lasted. Only really read for interest's sake...disagreed with as much as i agreed with, but he does put the graft in and would occasionally unearth a nugget

Surprised he does not negotiate agreement with Irish Field to advertise on his web site. His column is the only reason I buy the Irish Field (and the main reason I get the Weekender).
