Good luck Figgis. It does look a wide open race. I have taken a punt on Eccleston at 10/1. The form of his win has been boosted twice and I thought he was quite stylish in victory. He also comes from Doncaster, the same route at Reckless Abandon last year. I fear the American horse, Couch House looks a ridiculous price to me at 2/1.

Ta, sint, think I'll need it. Up on the first day from the place part of the Gregorian bet but back in deficit after my Chigun punt went wildly astray. Difficult to know what to make of Eccleston as they went quite slow but he was obviously well fancied, travelled great and quickened up nicely. As is usually the case it's not a race you can be supremely confident about with so many unexposed runners.

In poor form at the moment. Unlike that winner, who looked like Ben Johnson against boys

Winner built like a 3yo. Prix Morny next apparently.
Ecclestone finished stone last and I suspect he hated it that quick. It was Gs on debut. |
