Here is my Palace Stakes preview. Has to be Toronado for me. Feedback/opinions appreciated.

Do you need to be a member to see the preview? I liked the profile of Torando pre the 2000G and thought that the forecast quick ground would be a benefit. I am not entirely convinced by Magician yet.

Think Magician looks the real deal imo.
Take all the beating.

QIPCO 2000 Guineas winner Dawn Approach is likely to run in Tuesday's Group One St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Jim Bolger said: "He's been left in the St James's Palace Stakes and subject to a satisfactory piece of work on Thursday, he is an intended runner."

Racing manager Simon Crisford commented: "Jim is very happy with how Dawn Approach has done since the Derby and he is keen to let him run at Royal Ascot if everything continues to go well with his preparation between now and the race on Tuesday.

"We had a discussion this morning and decided to let him run if he pleases in his work on Thursday.

"Jim has been delighted with how relaxed Dawn Approach has been in his training."

didn't they say that he was out for quite a while after his derby runConfused
Report BJG June 12, 2013 12:11 PM BST
Speaking at Chantilly, where he saddled Loch Garman in the Prix du Jockey Club, Bolger said: “He got a bang leaving the stalls and I think that set him alight, and with the slow pace then Kevin wasn’t able to get him settled.

“The race was set up for him to win it, had he settled. It didn’t happen. We’ve got to get him home and see how he is, so it will be a couple of weeks (before we see what happens).”

Never said he would nt run tbf

JIM BOLGER insisted vanquished Investec Derby favourite Dawn Approach still has the world at his feet.
No target has been set for the 2,000 Guineas winner, who is entered in the Sussex Stakes over a mile at Goodwood next month, but Bolger was still able to issue his most upbeat bulletin yet about Dawn Approach since he finished last at Epsom nine days ago.
One certainty is that Dawn Approach will not race over the Derby trip of 1m4f again and another is Bolger's faith in the colt who was unbeaten before his nightmare day at Epsom.
"He's very well and he's still awesome. He'll be worth waiting for," said Bolger on Monday.

Makes for a fantastic race now - Toronado @ 5/1 e/w 1/4 1,2,3 is quite tempting.Excited

I stand corrected elisjohn

Quote from Jim Bolger taken from the Racing post on the 4th of June
"He definitely won't be running at Royal Ascot and we'll wait a while and give him time before
running him again"

Didn't think you had to be a member to view it, free site anyways if do. Regardless, I'm gonna be laying Magician in a massive way

Any chance W Hill s will be making the same concession BJG ? Placed an AP treble with Magician at 4/5 the day before Bolger pulled this rabbit out of the hat Sad
Report bosra shame June 14, 2013 3:51 PM BST
