yes mate 96 will get him in,imo. I was at york last week and it look to be he was just coming to the boil and back on a 'workable' mark
Good Luck |

By:
Will run at Epsom imo
................but the cat is out of the bag now and won't be any price![]() |
By:
Epsom makes more sense than Ascot but he has never won above class 3 and at seven years old, is he really improving? Really? Or is he one of those runners who always looks a bit unlucky?
By:
Thank - you boys.
By:
He's so well handicapped now he's hard to resist Ramruma, but i do understand where you're coming from, have backed him the last couple of times at decent odds on here so lto was particularly frustrating
he does run well at Epsom and i will be amazed if he doesn't turn up there.GL![]() |
By:
Keen on Loving Spirit (50/1+ on here) for this - off 94 so might be touch and go if he gets in.
TBF he's been a cliff horse for me since I backed him on his 2.y.o. debut at huge prices (hasn't won since) so I'm definitely biased towards him but he was rather unlucky in running, to my eyes, in the big 7f Ascot H'Cap a few weeks back and should be ideally suited to a big field and a straight 1m. |

Dance and Dance not entered up at Epsom
looks like this might be the plan ![]() |
By:
Anybody still interested in this one. Looks a plot jobbie.
By:
One of those eye catching horses. Its only 6lb lower than when it was 2nd 2 years ago....most of the other form isnt fantastic.
Will need luck with its customary slow start and coming through horses |
By:
did notice this, but if it comes up on the fast side of good, then last year's winner PRINCE OF JOHANNE all day for me. won well last year, same mark as last year to, good run last time out and at 25's will be much shorter on the day.
By:
since the middle of the eighties if memory serves, only one Hunt Cup winner ran at the Epsom Meeting,Mr Aviator. So just as well.

fancied runners Tamarkuz,Gifted Girl andLline Drummer not declared(along with others) for the race today

By:
Dont think that runs facts
By:
Has it been confirmed a NR ? |
By:
Nt yet but was unlikely 2 odd weeks back - was just back in trainin and they thought he would run out of time!
May make it yet tho cuz av heard nothin since that |
By:
Thanks for this BJG. Hope he does run - major chance if he does imo
By:
Fury is the one for me off 100, won off 104 in the past and this race looks perfect for him
By:
^ same trainer as FOF !

By:
Strongly agree about Fury being on a good mark , his win of 104 at york last year was well worth a few pounds extra , how he has got in off 100 is a real puzzle
By:
that's what I thought
By:
Would firm ground be a problem for Fury? Is he a definite runner, any chance he'll go for that Group 3 at Chantilly again?
By:
yes he will need decent ground, will be waiting for declarations and going description before betting, prob the draw too
By:
Having just watched Dance and Dance run in the Hambleton it would be plain stupid to ignore his chance off his greatly revised mark .The Handicapper is at last giving some of the old stagers a chance to compete against the less exposed types, which can only be good news ...Trade commission who created such a strong impression when winning on good ground at Salisbury last year is another with a big chance , the key to this Animal could well be the state of the going , he managed a good win on GS at Sandown last summer but could not show his speed quite so well on that slower surface .He is at his most effective over a mile , pity he has had no pipe opener but should
in no way be underestimated , Shamal Nibrass on a line through Trade Commission is also a contender ...tough race gl |

Fast Or Free not declared
Fury for me |
By:
stirring ballad for me
By:
Ian Balding has a great record of bringing milers up through the ranks so can not just write off the chance of Stirring Ballad , however when this Horse met Shamaal nibrass last year at Salisbury and beat him three lengths shimaal Nibrss was undoubtedly hampered in his run and would have got much closer with a clear passage ...Shaamal Nibrass may well be ridden by Thomas Brown on wednesday with Jamie Spenser on Educate , if that is the case he will probably meet Stirring ballad on no less than twenty pounds better terms than at Salisbury , This is one heck of a turnaround in the weights with Iain Baldings progressive contender

DANCE AND DANCE Ryan Moore booked to ride him.
Vaughan " he's in cracking form. Ryan rode him in a bit of work yesterday on the watered gallop and was absolutely delighted with him. I'm confident we've got him in great order and I'm looking forward to running him" full article in today's RP. |

Some gamble on Stirring Ballard, 10s now, on at 20s, really fancy this
By:
good luck with that but Isee nothing that says the horse is anywhere near well enough handicapped, started off in hcps on 76, needs to be a group horse, don't see it myself
By:
Stirring Ballad - Hughes on a hold up horse in a 30 runner handicap - I can almost read the thread(s) on the main forum after the race now!

I see that as a negative to be honest, going to punt Livingstone as well
