I backed him too Teets, eachway at 33/1 after he won his maiden. I was expecting they would head to Chester though, not york! Loch Garman advertises his 2yo form today in the Derrinstown.

Been at the York May meeting a few times over the past 20yrs & enjoyed it, as York is a fantastic racetrack & excellent value for £££ with top class racing on show.
But not for the 1st time this flat season we have a very important classic trial only 2wks from the main events (Derby & Oaks) madness imo.  Our Derby needs to be moved to the 2nd wk in June, top class horses need at least 3wks between races, especially 3yos imo. |

@sinfin -- probably the Greatwood layers believe he will not run in the Derby if he does not win (or go close) in his trial race, and whereas he was odds-on for the Lingfield Derby Trial, he will not even be favourite for the Dante. I'm vaguely surprised connections did not wait for the Predominate instead, but I suppose it is encouraging they are not running scared of Telescope. 50/1 might technically be a value price, on a line through Windhoek.
