I think that this is the one horse that has been seriously overlooked in the race. Because Hughes is on Toronado it seems the market doesn't give it a chance. It ran a storming race behind Kingbarns with plenty of good horses behind it that day. 29 on here is way too big. What price would Kingbarns be if it was in the race, certainly not 20's.

Sea The Stars was a Derby prospect and picked this up on his way to Epsom. Let's hope lightening strikes twice.Wink

really like this fellow...

cannot help but feel he is badly drawn here for me a shame as was very keen to have a decent poke on the horse...

listen good luck with your wager and would be with you 100% if he hadn't been drawn so wide

What price would he be if he'd won the RP trophy rather than coming second?

Ran a good race but was outclassed in the end, although was staying on in the end. I think it would make up some ground at Epsom but seven and a half lengths in asking a mighty lot.

3 days ago Hannon says

"The Derby is a definite. We're going to go there. He's a sharp horse and he stays. He's 20-1 and it's a good price," said the Herridge handler.

Olympic Glory will be joined in Ireland by stablemate by Van Der Neer, who stayed on in taking fashion to be third behind Dawn Approach at Newmarket.

"The Curragh's uphill finish should also play to the strengths of Van Der Neer, who was staying on better than anything when third to Dawn Approach in our Guineas," said Hannon.

"We walked off the stand at Newmarket thinking Van Der Neer might have earned himself a shot at the Derby, but the colts owner, Saeed Manana, is keen to go to Ireland instead, which is fine by us, especially as Richard Hughes made the point that he had not handled the bend too well when winning at Lingfield last month."

Horse looks all over a stayer as well (even though out of Dutch Art). Still wouldnt surprise me if he turned up particularly if he is out paced in the guineas. Hannon's put the punters away again.
