Just as I advised Bridgy that Long Jaw would be a disaster on The Giant Bolster in the King George (bombed obviously) I again advise Long Jaw will end Wyck Hills hopes.
Wyck Hill will drift to 4-1 on Satda with LJ on top as the bookies will lay it all day

He did post before the race true, but the reason he gave for impending defeat was wrong, that much is crystal clear.

If you can make sense Duffs I am glad to discuss. My logic is AP is a poor NH chase jockey cos he couldn't get a kangaroo to jump and his booking ended WH chance in Satdas race.
He rides Albertas Run well I will give him that!

He didnt do too badly on Syncronised either.

Or Well chief.

Or Wichita Lineman.

Or Mr Mulligan.

Or dont push it.

Or about 2000 other chasers.

I am a big fan of AP. I have to say that I was surprised and disappointed he didn't pull the horse up after a few fences. It was obvious to virtually everyone (except Rowbees of course) that there was something wrong with the horse, he was backing off his fences and obviously feeling something. Trainer confirmed this morning that he picked up an injury, which was no surprise. I think he was probably struck into at the first or second fence.

It's a hard thing to say but maybe sometimes the never-give-up approach of McCoy isn't the best thing for the horse. If jumping a fence is hurting it, making it jump another 15 is not going to help the horse's confidence in future.

Having said that, the injury sounds like it might not be too bad, and he's a very tasty price for the National now.

EWW I will continue to advise my thousands of followers what horses will bomb on and if u follow me you will make money.
It makes me laugh when people talk about Witchta and Syncronised. Both won in spite of Mr Blundrful hitting every fence and both sadly no longer with us...
