He's in a handicap at Warwick this weekend...doesn't look good that he's not amongst the 84 acceptors for the National as that would be an obvious target in my view - he WAS quoted in the AP market on Betfair.

beginning to wonder whether he's as good as he was before the injury- one of my favourite horses in training but can only be watched for the time being.
Agree with N-G, if he'd come back in the same form as previously I liked his chances in the National but now not entered - Warwick-Racing Plus route makes more sense now. |

Looked to be labouring at Sandown from early doors, although did run past a few beaten horses at the death. Ran well for a while at Cheltenham, until stopping rapidly. I hate to say it but the horse looks unlikely to win again. It cannot cope with top class and will be carrying lumps in handicaps. What race can it now win??

That run has scuppered my hopes of Hey Big Bender bolting in at The Festival around 50/1
![]() He's well handicapped at the moment and bumped into one today that's also well treated, so those uncharacteristic mistakes he made, make his effort even more creditable. |

He looked much more like a horse enjoying himself today, actually thought he was going to win for most of the home straight. I still cannot see him winning again. Entered for the Cross Country.....surely not his race??

Just been through the JLT and think he could at least hit the frame on this ground.Does anyone know if he's an intended runner?
