AP knows that Teaforthree would have been his choice....
By:
ah you mean the t43 that ran in one of the worst welsh nationals in memory and got hit 7lbs for the privilege for being beaten...
yes i can see why you think that would of been his choice |
By:
No chance AP will b on this in the GN tbh
Colbert Station, Sunnyhillboy, Alfie Sherrin |
By:
how do you know bjg the cards are yet to be played

ah you mean the t43 that ran in one of the worst welsh nationals in memory and got hit 7lbs for the privilege for being beaten...
Run in heavy ground! Safe to say he will be happier on better ground. Was he battling back all the way to the line? So 151 will equate to around 11st. No problem at all as he seems to be top of any list to excel over the National trip. |
By:
horses which raced as a novice in the previous season, or are currently novices, have an appalling record in the National
hth |
By:
That stat didn't stop Lord Gyllene who was a similar type.
hth ![]() |
By:
And how many of those Judorick where 9 year olds who had excelled over 4 miles?
By:
Just to add that if T43 runs in the Betfred Grand National trial at Haydock on 16th Feb then that will be his 10th Chase of his career to keeps the stats lads happy.
By:
so what your saying angel is you have backed t43 and he is your fancy... maybe best if you start a thread involving him and put your argument up on that thread
By:
stats stats stats,boring boring boring!!
sorry,but it is so bl00dy boring......imo of course ![]() |
By:
So you put up a thread but don't want anyone else to offer an alternative view ?
I see. |
By:
not at all flyingbolt but if your point is just to ramp up another fancy what is the point...the thread is about quiscover and whether mccoy would ride the animal in the national
By:
and AG's response was to put up reasons why he wouldn't.
![]() |
By:
yes but tony mccoy rides for jp mcmanus who has plenty with decent chances entered
By:
Indeed....and QF is bottom of the list.
imo of course. |
By:
well done columbo he is 50-1 and has been the outsider of the lot all season...he won't be come the day imo of course!!
By:
No,he'll be 100's on the day.
imo of course. ![]() |
By:
As i said AP knows that Teaforthree would have been his choice.... |
By:
maybe they might put patrick corbett up claiming the 7lbs he was put up in the welsh...has ridden him before and stable apprentice
![]() |
By:
You can't claim in the National.
Schoolboy error. ![]() |
By:
so Lord Gyllene won so that makes up for the hundreds of second season chasers and novices that have run in the National and not won
go on, name me another one in living memory |
By:
agreed b0llocks
![]() |
By:
ok
Bindaree Corbiere Perhaps they were before you were alive ? |
By:
Judo
A huge amount of those second season chasers did not have the required stamina at that stage in their career. But as LG, Bindaree and Corbiere proved is that if you are made for the race, then you are made for the race. |
By:
I'm sure McCoy will be on Colbert Station in the National.
By:
Also don`t forget T43`s early PTP career and the fact that not one mistake has been included in his post race chase analysis.
Not a second season chaser but Cappa Bleu ran a storming race last year after only 5 chases under rules with an early PTP career. Without being hampered last year and staying on well he could have gone close. Each horse on it`s merit Jud. |
By:
JP will still be buying runners when they're off - better than giving it to HMCR !! APs mount far from crystal i'd say.
By:
Seeing as this turned into the T43 thread then 10st 13lb is as i thought.
Roll on T43 on good ground over 4.5miles. ![]() |
By:
lol the winner has been allotted a mere 10-3 in the handicap angel...tony will have to sweat to make the weight but we live in hope he can make it
