They are going for the 100k bonus to win a race at Chelt... I think they would compromise their chances if they ran in such a competitive race like betfair hurdle... so Id wait before the declarations on this one.

Whist the 'bonus' festival race (probably County Hurdle) is indeed their prime objective, I think that connections must be sorely tempted to take advantage of bottom weight (including 5lb penalty) in the Betfair Hurdle, which would give him a favourite's chance (assuming that he squeaks into the top 24). I would not expect his participation to have a negative impact on his chances at Cheltenham, with five weeks between races. Certainly he would seem to have the better chance in the Betfair (before he is reassessed) but could quite possibly win both!
