I think Harry The Viking is handily weighted in this,has a good record over course and distance and could run very well in this en route to Cheltenham at around 25's now

"Wyck Hill will run at Exeter next Wednesday in a novice hurdle. He won't go over fences again before the Festival.

TRAINER David Bridgwater feels Wyck Hill can produce a performance similar to the one put up by stablemate The Giant Bolster in the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup last year if the nine-year-old heads for the big one at the Festival.

The Giant Bolster started 50-1 for last year's Gold Cup and led two out but was collared late by Synchronised.

Wyck Hill is a 50-1 shot for this year's contest and is unbeaten in two starts this season. A bold performance in his next outing in the Sky Bet Chase or the Racing Plus Chase will put him "in the mix"  according to Bridgwater.

He said: "He's what the French call a soldier. He doesn't think much and you could point him at a brick wall and he would gallop at it.

"If he goes and wins or runs well in the Sky Bet Chase or the Racing Plus Chase all of a sudden he's in the mix. There's good prize-money down to fifth or six. It was the same with The Giant Bolster last year."

Clearly he hasn't shared is plans with Scu

Got to have a really good chance in either of those races if that's where they point him

Chances of the meeting going ahead? Not great methinks.Pity, as it could have been a very decent renewal.
